If you are consistently told by different people that the problem is you and it will be the same everywhere then change offers no hope

Thanks for support and helpful comments, everyone. The meeting was with the inclusion manager and LittleD, and not with the teacher, which I took as a positive. I shared some of the other feedback about the teacher, which LittleD didn't want to share, and I think that the inclusion manager understood what was going on. Felt quite positive about it afterwards. I have asked for a copy of the exclusion policy.

A promising outcome, LindsD. It's possible that similar matters have been raised by the parents/carers of other students.

Phew good Linds and I think a copy of the write up will be really helpful to judge the tone they are taking. star and () and possibly high five.
I know for c9 the knowledge that adults can behave wrong and unhelpfully and this be acknowledged by other adults is important

Write up? You're having a laugh. Never had a write-up. Ever.

I think that's probably important for everyone...

Oh, don't be. :)

And I just spoke to the counselling service who report:

a. That she is not engaged with counselling and

b. That nothing she is presenting is serious enough for a CAMHS referral, despite what school say.

I know. Head of year just called to say that the Safeguarding Lead thinks that it is serious enough for a CAMHS referral and do I give permission for the school nurse to see her? I feel a bit like it's all becoming about the problems and not about the child. Sigh.
