Fartleks on the old railway for me today. Not too many mobile obstacles. Bit over 4km, probably sub 35 5K if I'd kept going. But I gave it a big finish and had done quite enough, thank you Paces between 5:00 and 9:32 /100m.
Within the next couple of weeks I'd like to see 32.xx: sub-32 would be great.

I’m going to keep chipping away at this. Currently aiming for sub 36:00 I discovered at the weekend that, due to growing old, if I ever manage sub 30 I’ll have a WAVA of 60+%

Thanks Dvorak and Evangel. Last year became a bit of a write-off for me and just as I was getting going yet again I started with my glute problem. I know that consistency is the key and hopefully, once I get over this I'll be able to keep on it.

We won our Mob Match and are onto round 2 so I’ll be doing 5ks every weekend until we get knocked out! Finding a flat traffic free route is the main issue at the moment - obviously can’t go too far from home either. I’ve been running round a block of streets near my house but there are a lot of corners! If I find a better route I’m hoping to get nearer to 31 minutes this weekend.

I hadn't planned on doing another 5km so soon. But got unfurloughed and didn't run since Tuesday. Decided last night to least try.
Felt sluggish each half km had to be run in 4:12. to do similar to last week
Felt slow
But 42:18. 4 seconds faster
