Good work Gobi, definitely look around there!
I might have a last bash at a quick parkrun on Saturday before I get back to more of a marathon focus, I ran 16:44 (a 5k PB) at my local parkrun at the end of November off marathon training (couple of weeks before Valencia), and have had a few sub 18s running parkruns over the festive period, so think I've been ticking along ok.

Ran 17.55 at the weekend on a not fast course, need to lose a little more weight but maybe March/April it may be on

I'm a good 4-5 pounds heavier than I was at the end of November but hoping part of that is muscle and won't matter as much over 55k as it does over the longer stuff!

ugh, I guess I'll have to see if I can magic another one of these (sub 18 5k that is, not a belly!) out of thin air to try and get a slot in our 12-stage team.
It could be a real stretch for me though this time. Might have to try and find the perfect parkrun course on a good day and wear the shoes!
