Winter XC and road league races might rekindle some appetite to try to dip under 18:14 from earlier on this year. Still quite a way off that at the moment, not even sure I could break 19 at the moment.

Nice work Gobi.
Gobi started 2019 last week.
I started two months ago!
No racing for me but did my longest run ever (13.57 miles).

I ran a 17.55 on Sunday for only my second sub 18 of the year. Was a tough trail 5k.
Only managed 19.16 though today on a tough parkrun in 30mph winds. My course pb is 18.45 and did 2 “sessions” through the week so legs struggled. But more to come in the next few months hopefully.

Ran a 17:53 parkrun a couple of weeks ago, which was a relief - didn't want to end the year without a sub-18 parkrun (although I've gone sub-18 in a handful of 5K road races). Still feel I have a sub 17:30 in me, waiting to be realised, but everything has to come together on the day.
