Some good running here folks. My season kind of fell apart for various reasons.
Was very hot in June but then had some chest problems which wiped me out. Had a shocking 5k come back in barely under 15:30 at Cheltenham and decided to sack the track season. Psychologically fed up too.
Was the right decision as had to finish off my MSc thesis and am now all done at Oxford : ( But on the plus side back to full time athlete for a little while! Put in a 15:53 parkrun off nothing but residue fitness, and since done a couple of suprisingly good sessions like 11 miles including 6 x mile (avg. 5.00) / 90''. So for a confidence booster doing a road 5k on Tuesday as one last effort.
Then the aim will be leading up to Copenhagen half marathon. I want to run a 68...

PB -0I saw that parkrun and thought that's fast for someone that has ended their season ;-). Obviously still in good shape.

Pretty easy, lol. I've never been one to focus on that type of stuff. I have a couple of 99 mile months in my log from a few years ago.
I've only topped up a run once when I went out with the intention of running 10 and the route I picked ended up slightly shorter.
