Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

You smashed it, Becca! 2Ff and Pesto were laughing that you'd gone down their way for your race while they'd come up toi St Neots, which is much closer you your patch. Swapsies!

St Neots entries opened when I was off doing Comrades and I fancied a change. It turned out that Gosport is a much easier course - I remember the pain of getting up those little hills at St N.

St Neots has become a bit of a "Hugathon Tradition", Becca. That's the third year running and we're planning another go at it next year already. How is the organisation and all that at Gosport?

Ah well done Becca - we saw you heading off at the finish but couldn't catch up as Magpie was struggling to get his legs moving! Glad it went well for you :)

Well done Nellers too :)

And a cracking run from Arjin - you should join the sub 1:30 thread ;)

So where are you all heading from here? I've got a target of sub 1.39 at Gt Bentley in February, then a sub 1.38 at Colchester in March.

Well that's the plan. What about you lot?

Organisation is very good at Gosport. As well organised as St Neots I would say and that sets a very high standard indeed. A bit of a faff to get there mind. I might be ready to face the undulations of St Neots next year.

No idea what next in terms of half marathons. Sub 1.38 I guess but I don't know where that will be. The focus is now on to the full 26.2 at Seville, hopefully for a tilt at 3:30, and then Comrades again.

Thanks Curly - shame I didn't see you at the end.

no real plan for me at the moment. take it easy for a week or two and reasses. I'm booked to do stubbington 10k in Jan, and 3 forts marathon in may, so base miles and a little bit of speed work. oh yeah, effin colossal hills too!! and then there's also Hayling 10 this Sunday if the legs are up to it... haha!

Swavesy HM in March is the next one for me. After the weekend I'm confident that I can get sub 1:35, and maybe even push it on down towards the 1:30 mark.

I never thought I'd say that!
