In that case thank goodness I am doing Gosport this year rather than St Neots.
Hard to know how it is going because I have not really been training for a sub 1:40 attempt but I have been doing plenty of other training (started on Seville Marathon training) so I should have a fair chance if I don't overdo things this week.

Nellers, depends how well I get over Saturday's ultra but if I am vaguely recovered I'd be looking for sub 1:45.

Nellers, I might have company for you. Not me, obvs. I'm not daft. I'll check and get back to you.

Gosport half done in 1:36:59
and I felt really strong at the end, so reckon I could go a fair bit quicker. so pleased with this though as it marks my real return to fitness after ruining myself on a marathon 2 years ago.

Nice on, Arjin. Very quick.:-)
I ducked under 1.40 today too. 1.39.21 at St Neots. Very pleased with a race that went exactly to plan.:-)
