Velociraptor
I remember now! Sharkie's weights session has reminded me. On Saturday morning I finally condemned the ragged and holey handknitted dishcloth we've been using for years and brought out a new one. We have plenty, because when doing weights sessions I space my sets by knitting a row or two of a dishcloth. The things you can do when you train at home (eL Bee! lies down on the treadmill and has a little snooze between sets when he's spotting for me.)

Sharkie, in answer to your question about tongue-in-cheek (or not) comments, I refer you to a recent quote from my horse riding instructor. 'You've got that face on that means you're thinking ' I know all the things I'm supposed to be doing and it's not working.' Then you get upset. Then the horse gets upset. Then I worry that you're going to have a fight. It scares me.'
I could also do with working on Starting Finishing Things. But...starting new things is so much more fun!

Mrs Jigs (Luverlylegs)
My work has commenced, started stripping out the garden this afternoon and am about to order some topsoil, also been reading up on plants etc. I have taken a couple of photos but not put them up yet, oh and my reward for working in the garden was a visitor in the form of a goldcrest, I have never seen one before, they are so tiny!

Thanks, Maz. I think I will book a session with the PT in our gym so he/she can show me the right way to do everything. But I'm not committing to doing it in Sept, as I'm a bit in the same position as V'rap and D2.
I didn't say 'no' yesterday, but I did say 'I don't mind whether it runs or not, but you need to tell me soon otherwise I won't have time to prepare'. Which is on the way to 'no'. Sort-of.

More progress on project new job! had a call with my new boss this morning, and am trying to set up a viewing for a non-scammy apartment next week.
Bad news is that the security clearing process may take a while, so might not get to actually start in September

Great progress everyone! Linds: try ‘let me check if that’s possible and get back to you’ (then don’t, because it’s not possible) or ‘it sounds like a great opportunity but unfortunately I have no time in my schedule to do it justice’. Both polite and assertive ways of saying no.
So far yoga is going ok, enjoying it more than I expected but I need to find a yoga spot, and I haven’t yet started Operation Decorate House. I’ve also started classes at the trampoline place, which I was going to before the summer, but now they have extra classes I can go at least twice a week
