So inspiring to see everyone’s new starts (and starting to finish).

I have some big new things starting this month. My new extension/kitchen starts next week and I’ve met with the kitchen designer again today to finalise a few of my choices. It’s exactly 1 year today since she measured up so a long time coming. I’m starting a masters course on 24th.

On a smaller scale I’ve bought new inner tubes to fit on my bike so I can start riding it again.

Good stuff with the Starts, Fetchies!

A few pages ago I mentioned the idea of a Drive Phase of the Day:
In sprint terms (and why not) it's about getting out of the blocks AND into your drive phase! (Rather than finding and doing new things every day.)

Newt Jinglers will be familiar with the concept of a daily 'winner' (although it's not about winning). Instead of a New Thing of the day the selector will choose someone who has entered the drive phase of their Something. That's the push forward bit after leaving the blocks (starting).

My thread my rules so I get to choose the first one. I choose .... Mrs. Jigs, because she has really got down to her cottage garden project.

Here's Mrs Jigs post from last night:

'My work has commenced, started stripping out the garden this afternoon and am about to order some topsoil, also been reading up on plants etc. I have taken a couple of photos but not put them up yet, oh and my reward for working in the garden was a visitor in the form of a goldcrest, I have never seen one before, they are so tiny!'

Good isn't it?

So Mrs. Jigs - it doesn't have to be today but as soon as you read about someone who you feel has really got out of the blocks and into their drive phase you, er, choose them.

I have the added advantage in selecting Mrs. Jigs as she will know EXACTLY what I mean! :-)

ION - I did another half hour Tidying My Room. 15 mins is just not enough to make even a small difference so it has to be half an hour.

Doesn't have to be straight away - just as soon as something strikes you.
