That's good that going via Malaga is not silly prices and you don't have to rush back to work on the Monday morning.

Wise to be cautious, would be a poor scam though without your bank or credit card details ๐Ÿ˜‰

Can you double check to see if you're still on the waiting list.?

Shades, I canโ€™t see where I am on the list. I could drop them an email I guess, to take me off of it, but Iโ€™m intrigued if I get a place that way as well. If I do, Iโ€™ll obviously give it up immediately for someone else.

Maybe they have taken you off the list. Best to leave things as they are perhaps.

Big G-Great news(hopefully) on Seville,it does sound like you're in though.
Hopefully everyone can get running again the next few days, very heavy rain here today after work so I took today as rest.
Shades-In terms of hours,I'm dropping to 45 from Feb,only 3 hours a week less,but that's quite a bit of running ๐Ÿคฃ

Ian - an extra 3 hours running a week is a lot of miles. You might need some of those 3 hours for your little strength routine ๐Ÿ˜‰

Dry here now and has warmed up a bit. Rain coming in about midnight and when I head to Aldi in the morning it should be heavy rain and a balmy 10 degrees ๐Ÿ™ƒ

Wow that is a lot of hours of running Ian,

Shades: 4 degrees at 7-8 am with torrential rain and 40mph winds.

Rest day, planned rest day this time, not weather defined. A lovely 10 degrees out but fairly windy and wet.

Had a restless and uncomfortable night with my back. Those nights are getting fewer but annoying when it happens.

Def wet windy here. M6 supposedy one lane up over the tops but be afternoon before i go that way so should either have melted with the temp increase or at least been rained away. If it's pissing down later on i'll drive down for my haircut and head off right afterwards so would be doing my trip in the daylight anyway.

3C currently but for next hour ones starting with 10am it goes 4 6 8 11 by 1 and then settles there. WInd is 66 gusts now but will drop to 40's by 1

Park run is cancelled here as well as most of the other local ones.

Not too bad down here, lovely 11 degrees. Windy, lots of leaves and a few small branches down. Saw lots of runners out, all looking happy in the conditions.

About This Thread

Maintained by Shades
Back in December 2005 I started a thread on Runner's World offering a marathon training plan on 3 runs a week. I had my own running club at the time (Womens Running Network) and I had successfully trialled the training plan when I took a group of girls to Dublin to run their first marathon.

Over the years the thread has evolved into a chat thread, with a bit of training advice, race reports, for predominantly marathon runners.
