WP - never mind you still got out there and did what you could.
I took a chance that the rain was too heavy for it to be icy and that was OK. But only going to be 2 degrees all day today and can't see all this rain drying up so unsure if I can run tomorrow.
Saturday forecast to be 15 degrees here 😲

We have same temps for today 2 degrees.Tomorrow is similar temps as today infact a degrees or two colder.So may be a run day or not.
Saturday a high of 14 and torrential rain-yay

WP - I don't mind the wind and rain as long as it's mild.
It's the cold I hate and of course ice, which is the only weather that stops me running.

I won't risk running on ice either.
It's snowing here now. Which makes me feel less like a wimp for cancelling my appointment today.

I remember one year back at old house we were bottom of a hill and you were cut off as unable to cut out of road.I had tried to get to surgery at the top of hill and had to come back holding the garden walls and reschedule appointment.But It was still tricky and I was scaring myself!

Just not worth the risk. I don't mind walking or even running in fresh snow, deep enough to cushion a fall.

Now we've got a yellow warning for ice for tonight and tomorrow morning 😭
But after that we've got milder temperatures for several days 😎

WP - I think we'll have ice. Roads still wet and some more rain later today and it's already below freezing point.
I don't mind Storm Bert as it will be mild. As long as WiFi and electricity not affected as I have AGM via Zoom on Saturday.
