I thought it was particularly dark on my way down the stairs this morning. Yes, readers, I had forgotten to open my eyes. The other week I went for an eyetest. Right eye went fine; then the optician switched sides. I could not see anything. Minor panic on both sides till, you've guessed it, readers, I remembered to open my eyelids. |

It's not a regular thing but I do sometimes wonder why things are dark and then remember.

Nearly got the washing dried outside then the heavens opened and soaked it all. Brought it in, emptied the fluff and condenser drawers on the tumble dryer and set it to dry. Five minutes later spotted the wet washing still in the basket and the dryer merrily tumbling hot air. |

The bottle of balsamic vinegar and the bottle of rapeseed oil are almost the same size and shape and are on the same shelf of the cupboard, but one of them will pickle your sinuses if you splash it into a hot pan.

The worst I've done there is accidentally cover my toasted cheese in balsamic vinegar instead of Worcestershire sauce. It was ok actually, not the taste I was expecting but not bad.

Not really a senior moment for me but two weekends ago I was in Laaandan supporting my wife the the Royal Parks HM. MRsR wanted to change to warmer leggings as it was a bit chilly so we waited together in the looong queue for the cubicals and I stepped to the side when we got to the front, while she went in to get changed. Anyway after waiting about 3mins while MrsR was in the loo I turned around to see a queue of about 10 had formed behind me. The look of disappointment on their faces when I had to explain. |
