Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

there aren't that many cars like my Elmo around really - so it's an easy mistake to make :)

I tried to make a coffee on my sons Nespresso machine yesterday but it just made some odd noises and produced no coffee. I let my son know his machine wasn't working. My son had a look, filled the tank with water and it worked.

Not me but Mrs WM - and not exactly a senior moment either - but definitely an 'own goal' and worthy of recording for posterity. Mrs WM decided earlier on it would be a good idea to add the cleaning cloth from her glasses case to the towels she was washing. Shortly after switching it on, the washing machine came up with an error and stopped. It took me an hour to drain the machine and open up the filter to find, yes, the glasses cloth blocking the outlet pipe. At least I know how to check it next time without needing to read the instruction manual first ..

Not sure of it really qualifies, but I managed a 540 roll today while trying to scramble down a VERY steep notparkrun. No injuries as it was wet grass underfoot and nettles stopped my fall. Thanks, nettles.
I did choose the softest part of the route to fall, so i have that going for me!

I keep on putting tea-leaves in my mug instead of the teapot.

I logged into a system that I usually log in to with an admin account with my own account then wondered who was logged in as me when I checked who was connected.

This morning I went to charge my kindle and instead found myself trying to charge my coffee mug. It was my third coffee of the day as well, clearly not strong enough!

=============

I was just drying my hair after a shower, I switched the hairdryer on and suddenly the bedroom was plunged into darkness, the hairdryer wasn't working either. Great, the electrics have just tripped out.

I find a torch, go to the fuse box but nothing has tripped - turns out I pressed the light switch instead of the hairdryer 'on' button.
