Since the nights started drawing in, I’ve been looking all over for my decent bike lights, which usually just live in the bike pannier and hadn’t been needed since February. So that’s about 3 weeks until it occurred to me to look in the pockets of my warm cycling jacket.

Went out to the car with the wrong car key and made myself jump when the other one clicked and bleeped open.

I've fallen off my bike twice in the past two days, both times when trying to dismount on the wrong side of a camber. I'm going to have to add 'check camber' to the ways I decide where I'd like to stop.

I did that once Chris, it hurts like hell. My foot didn't want to go high enough over the crossbar, lost balance and fell backwards flat onto my back. Glad I was wearing a helmet that day as my head did bang the ground quite hard.
