I don't know why I brought my electric toothbrush downstairs yesterday morning instead of putting it on the charger in the bedroom before picking up my teacup.

every time my work phone bings with an email alert I glance across to see who it's from. Three seconds later my laptop bings and my brain goes "ooh an email!"

Preparing myself a nice salad for lunch, some salami, celery, sundried tomatoes, artichoke hearts and avocado. Washed the celery, cut an avocado in half and put one piece back in fridge for tomorrow.

Does anyone know where to other half is please........ Had to eat the salad without its as its nowhere to be seen. :(

(I can't see it from here, but ... why didn't you use the half which you knew where it was? The other half might turn up by tomorrow ;-) )

OMG............ I didn't think about using the half I could find........... ha ha !
that's an even better senior moment

I found it in the end in the cutlery draw when I was washing up my lunch plate and cutlery

Mulbs, that, all the time. Especially as I'm still retiring an old phone so it goes phone, laptop, old phone... Last app still on the old phone is of course the security token for the VPN...

D2 also made me chuckle.

And now I have forgotten what I came here for...

This morning I went to charge my kindle and instead found myself trying to charge my coffee mug. It was my third coffee of the day as well, clearly not strong enough!

I was just drying my hair after a shower, I switched the hairdryer on and suddenly the bedroom was plunged into darkness, the hairdryer wasn't working either. Great, the electrics have just tripped out.

I find a torch, go to the fuse box but nothing has tripped - turns out I pressed the light switch instead of the hairdryer 'on' button.
