I may have logged a senior moment on the over-50s thread.

I usually work with my laptop as part of a 2 screen setup at home. I can't do that at work so often log into my laptop and a desktop separately and run my notes on one and digital dictation on the other. Cue repeatedly trying to move stuff from one screen to another and wondering why it wouldn't drag and drop. At least once every ten minutes. All bloody afternoon.

I've been known to try to move my mouse off the bottom left of the screen to point at something on the notepad I've got on the desk

Just realised that I wrote "Monday 29th" at the top of the page of my work notebook yesterday and didn't notice my mistake.

The other app stuck on my old phone is my banking app. I know my password, think I've guessed my user name, know my Dad's middle name. WTF is my 6 digit number?
I just keep using the old phone, that only asks for my password. Secure yes?
Also does anyone know what I did with most of September, seems to have gone missing!

JC - I've had to stop using my credit card online for the same reason. It's asking me for e.g., digits 3, 7 and 10 of my memorable number. I have no idea what a 10-digit memorable number might be and I certainly don't recall setting one up.

A 10-digit memorable number is a phone no, isn't it? I know my six-digit one is one that a friend used to have.

We've been away from home and our car was stolen overnight. It's one we've had since last November, and embarrassingly, neither of us could remember its reg number. Had to phone home to get our DD2 to look up the details on its paperwork for us so we could report it.

how awful JK (the car being stolen, not the lack of knowing the number plate)
