Thanks WtnMel, I'll try again next time I have any photos to post, but I think that is what I have been doing. Time will tell! I'll catch up later 😀 |

0061,that's a great photo. This morning was a solo 3.88 miles in the forest, including 4 hilly circuits, with 2 minute recoveries in Marchwood Inclosure. Each circuit was 0.37 miles. |

0061 Great photo, hope you've recovered from your trip now, travelling can be very tiring. WtnMel You must be disappointed that you had to cancel your visit to your mum, but it sounds like your foot is starting to get better. I suppose it's just a case of being patient and resting it in the meantime. All this enforced inactivity must be frustrating for you! HS I haven't tried posting any photos yet on Fetch, I haven't even worked out how to attach an emoji, plus I'm now finding if I start a post then change pages I've lost the post when I go back to it. Maybe it's something to do with my new laptop, IT things tend to be a bit of a mystery to me. A helpful visit to the physio, he explained about the 4 tendons in the rotator cuff and how their movement is restricted by inflammation. He says I have tendinitis, which may need a cortisone injection, but he hopes treatment and lots of icing may be enough. He did a lot of work on all the tendons and my shoulder blade, which freed up quite a bit of movement in my shoulder. Surprisingly he then went on to work on my face, which freed up even more movement. My shoulder is quite sore now but I'm icing it often and will see him again for more treatment in a couple of weeks. Still doing some walk / run sessions with Steve, he's slowly building up the running side, so far with no adverse effects. |

@Aquarius - yes, very frustrating being stuck indoors with my foot up. But it IS improving and to my untrained eye, almost back to normal. Just a tiny bit of residual pain in the foot and a very slight tightness when I walk. But I'm not limping around like a few days ago. I've been looking back at my exercise chart where I track what walking/exercising I do and noting the days when i was MIA due to injuries. Not sure it will prove anything but I hope that, along with the daily photos I've been taking of my foot, may prove useful to the podiatrist when I show her. Good to hear the physio was able to help with your rotator cuff tendons. Afraid I don't know why the website isn't automatically saving your posts. Simplest thing is probably to send a message to @fetcheveryone - but as I've just tagged him here, he will get a notification and may pop in and provide an answer if he has time! 😀 |

Aquarius, that shouldn't happen, as fetch has advised that the forums are now "save as you type," and that we could leave a post to go elsewhere and return to it where we left off. Having said that, the same thing happened to me the other day, and when I returned, the post had vanished. It sounds as if your visits to the physio are helping, and hopefully you won't need to have cortisone injections. I see your runs/walks on WtnMel has posted an "idiots guide" on how to post photos, but it is a bit hit and miss with me, sometimes it works, but more often it doesn't. |
