Nice photos HS, you seem to have cracked it! Did you do parkrun today?
I did Chopwell Wood parkrun, and although I was only a bit quicker than recent ones I actually felt a lot better while running. Lately I've struggled with energy levels during my runs and so haven't enjoyed them at all. Today I felt a lot stronger and managed to overtake a number of runners plus felt better on the hills. I hope this isn't a flash in the pan, as I've a trail 10k in a fortnight.

Thanks Aquarius, I think that I have cracked the photo problem, but it is not as user friendly as on other platforms.
Yes, I ran the local Bartley Park parkrun again this morning, the 4 lapper finishing at the top of a hill. I ran it in 29.08, which is the quickest for nearly 4 months.
It's good to hear that you felt much stronger during today's Chopwell parkrun, overtaking several runners, and feeling better on the hills.
I hope that you can maintain the good work, so that you run well in your trail 10k in a couple of weeks.

I'm back on my feet as my right foot seems to have almost returned to normal. I say almost - there's some residual tightness, but that may be normal and I'm just more aware? I may even (gasp) go for a slow short walk tomorrow.

Well done HS on your fastest time at Bartley Park for 4 months, that must be a great AG too. Good to hear your right foot is so much better WtnMel, I'm sure I don't need to warn you not to overdo your walk if you decide to go for it tomorrow. Looks like being a hot one today, glad it's a non-running day.

WtnMel, that's good news that your right foot is almost back to normal. I hope that you will be able to get out for a slow short walk tomorrow.
Aquarius, thanks, I was 1stAG in the 75-80 category, but the only one. The WAVA was 68.94%.
It's very hot here today also. It's lucky that it was your non-running day.
I ran a solo 5 miles this morning at recovery pace, in Dibden Inclosure. This included a lap round the 1k and 800 metre loops.

HS My parkrun only attracts about 70 runners so I'm nearly always the only V70 lady. I hope you managed to get your 5 mile run done yesterday before it got too hot. The weather is very unpredictable at the moment.
We were supposed to have heavy rain and thunderstorms this morning, but although it was very overcast there was only an odd spot or two of rain when I went for my run at 7am, but it was very windy. I did my usual long run (7.7 miles) that includes the 1.5 mile hill. I just got back as Steve was setting out for his C25k session.

Nice photos hillstrider
Aquarius did I read that correctly- the physio also worked on your face. Sounds a bit scarey. Great news Wtnmel back on your feet. I'm struggling a bit with sore hips and a cold, but did manage a fast 5km race last week coming 1st V60.

Aquarius, thanks; by keeping in the shade as much possible yesterday, I avoided the worst of the heat.
Well done for this mornings 7.7 miles run, including the 1.5 mile hill. I hope that Steve did well at his C25k session?
0061, thanks. I don't often take my phone with me when I'm running in the forest, but will try to do more so, especially when running alone.
I'm sorry to hear about your sore hips and cold, and hope that they will soon recover.
Well done for your 1st V60 in your 5k race last week.
This morning was definitely the hottest so far this year, and I ran a hot and sweaty hilly 12k in the forest with the Sarah's. 🥵🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️🏃
