I collected one number. And that was a zero. Not to be deterred I though I would try it anyway just in case. Sadly zero doesn’t seem to be accepted as a guess.

Sigh - wouldn’t matter where I centre my home zone - anywhere close would always have a big chunk inaccessible, I think the markers moving every day is a nice fair way of doing it - although those living in a city will potentially have an advantage.

I wasted the three I got yesterday as I was too quick off the mark with a guess. Only aquired 4 today, so hanging on to those.

Not sure which will take precedence if my Fetchpoint bug lands the opposite side of the circle to Rundle markers though.

Can we only see our own markers?

Wild-card tokens visible to everyone which could be stolen and used as any number might be a fun addition

JK *chameleon*
I have adjusted the 'How to Play' text, to try to encourage people to think a bit more about collaboration. It'll be fascinating to see how this plays out. The person who made the most recent guess clearly hadn't read this thread (or they did, but they didn't trust Groundhog and JK).

They are right not to trust me. I openly admitted to one lie. Or was that the lie? Did I really meet a ferret? ;)

Rosehip the markets seem to be in the same arrangement for everyone, just placed on your local home map. My map seems to be the same location as my Who Squares Wins grid, but that could be a coincidence.

ITG 🇮🇸 I'm not saying I'm not getting my runs in, I just think the game would be more fun if it were warmer (also if the ground weren't covered in snow and ice)!

IT GRANNY 🇮🇸
Agreed! At least we are getting some daylight though.

I should be able to pick up 6 digits later.

Fetch could rundle markers make an appearance on route planning map in the future?

And while I know we don’t have the worst of winters in UK I can’t wait for spring to be sprung in definitely more a sunflower.

I can't get any of today's numbers. I'll stay in where it's warm and windless :)

About This Thread

Maintained by fetcheveryone
Sign up, and you'll see your local map, with ten black markers - each one containing a digit. Collect these on your runs, rides, walks (and swims if you're lucky). It's GPS only, sorry. When you have enough digits, try and guess the secret number, which is anywhere between 1 and 1,000,000. If your guess is wrong, Rundle will tell you whether you are too high or too low.

All Fetchies are chasing the same number. You can choose to share your intel from your guesses - or (moral dilemma) you can try to throw everyone else off the scent.

If you're the person who guesses the right number, you get a snazzy new badge. The secret number will then reset, and the game begins again.
