What do we think is that then?
Bit one sided and maybe not really going to give any meaningful data.
That said, some great performances and good to see new guys getting a go.
Smith looked good to me, even tried a tackle or two.

Smith was playing against 14 men but did very well. I liked what I say of Tuilagi, Steward and Dombrandt, Atkinson and Mitchell off the bench.
I think Wales are going to get a seeing-to from South Africa and I don’t think the boks will use lube

Dour game so far. Both teams thrive in an arm wrestle, Wales due to their Gatland hangover. They, rather than the Boks suit the Kiwi ref lwho desperately wants an open game but won’t get one on a rainy Cardiff evening.

If anyone's going to get a seeing-to, it's probably the bloke who got onto the pitch. I don't think it would have had an impact on the result though. Nice to see Ellis back and having a busy game.

Lineout was better at least, it's always that last 10 minutes...

Personally I thought it was an improvement all round from Wales, excepting the scrum, which is a concern but the Springboks can do that to you. You can see they are trying to play a more expansive game (hardly fair to suggest anything is Gatland’s fault over 2 years since he left) but you have to be pragmatic at times & sometimes you can only do what the opposition let you do. To illustrate - the much trailed Du Pont, Jalibert, Ntamack 9/10/12 didn’t exactly tear up the pitch against the Pumas tonight but it was a cracking game, even without hatfuls of tries.

B Rubble
The Bocks did well to close out the game against what was a much improved Wales. They need to work on the scrum but the lineout was much better. I’m hoping they step up another level for the Aussies and at least get a win against Fiji.
The idiot who ran on the pitch deserves to be prosecuted but I’m not sure Williams would have made the try, despite being obstructed by both the pitch invader and the official trying to remove him.
