Looks like Smith has a target on him. No surprise really.

Love it when the hooker tries a side step
Don't love it when shoulders and high tackles fly in.

Disappointed not to have been in The Shed last night….
Pleased to have managed to sell my seats in the East Stand this afternoo*
Enjoying Eng v Aus on the tele. An embarrassment of riches this weekend.
*would have loved to be there really, but isolating is a bastard.

Ireland were sublime against ABs. Never seen so many errors from NZ though.

Errors happen when you’re put under relentless pressure and the Irish boot is on your neck for 80 minutes

Indeed, but NZ are usually far more adept at handling that pressure.
Was it a one-off blip or is their dominance on the slide?

Whilst I can never be upset at England beating the Aussies that game was awful, zero intensity and almost like an old fashioned training match. Compare that with the intensity in the Ireland match and its like night and day.
A few good performances - George, Hill, Steward for England and Nic White for Oz stood out. Hills best game by a long way in an England shirt and I'm not a fan of Hill. George has been much improved, he's never looked more than solid IMO in an England shirt but has been great in this series. Steward looks a natural although he hasn't been challenged at 15 yet.
EJ created a mess with Farrell/Smith/Manu/Slade changing positions constantly and there was little continuity and understanding in the backline as a result. I'd like to see Smith/Manu/Slade as 10/12/13 against the Saffers - Farrell is too much of a crowbar and kicking the ball away for set-pieces just benefits the Saffer gameplan. The way to beat them is to keep the ball in play and run them off their feet. Manu on the wing definitely won't work against the Saffers kick-chase and shows how inept that the Aussies were that they didn't really target him
