Interesting to see how Smith copes with the crowbar outside of him at 12... I wonder if they continue with the practice of swapping the 10 and 12 to protect Smith a bit With JOC at 10 for the Aussies, guess the theory is they won't kick much. I have a theory with the 50-22 rule that the game may develop and we could see teams playing with 3 centres and two deep wide wing/fullbacks. EJ could be trying this although May hasn't played Fullback for a long time

We’ve struggled for a good, balanced centre partnership for years - if any combo has real potential then Tuilagi/Slade looks worth persisting with. Feels like a hospital pass for Smith, wedged between ‘two steps’ Youngs and his delayed pass and not having either gain line busting power or pace at IC as a first option. Aussie back row will be salivating
