I’ve had to take 2 x jokers this week for my intervals and threshold run. Mainly because I was ‘saving’ my legs for today’s ultra. Hopefully back on it this week if I’ve recovered enough.

I think that's fair enough, under the circumstances, lin!

I agree with GM. How did you get on with the ultra?

FF...it was a really nice route. Over 2,000 ft of elevation (mainly 3 nasty hills at miles 6, 20 and 25). A very low key event with only 40ish runners. It’s my first ultra and I came in at 6hrs 31 although Garmin was a bit short at just under 30 miles. We did pass through some tunnels so maybe lost gps going through those?

I've done all 3 runs this week. I'm looking forward to trying the interval session again and pacing it better next time.

Hello 👋
I restarted Project Joker last week but forgot to post in here! It’s going well so far.

Well done to you both, I'm sure it will come together GM (in week 10) they're difficult to get right.

Oh no please don't, it just means you have to run even faster the week after 🤣🤣
Please don't try that, stick to the pace suggested and if possible jog the rest breaks as I'm sure that will be better than too fast and walking the breaks.
