Getting the pacing right is very difficult lin and I find I'm very often looking at my watch and either slow or speed up too much because of that glance at my watch. I'm pleased you feel as if you're feeling some benefit.

Well done on your long run ER - nice consistent pacing.

Well done on your Nordic walking sessions Hanneke.

Lin, as FF says getting the pacing right on intervals can be tricky - glad that it was still a good session overall.

I’m hoping to get my long run done tomorrow.

Thanks FF for the prompt to pop over here :)
I've just started PJ today with my longer run. It seems a very slow pace, but suited me well today. I do 60:30 jeffing for my long runs. It will be interesting to see how this develops.

Intervals today. I changed from 5 x 800m, which were my last 2 sessions to 10 x 400m. I found it more difficult to keep a steady pace, but maybe that’s just practice. I had an extended rest #8 as I met someone who I’ve not seen for years, but it was good to catch up.

Well done ER, I've always done 10 x 400 and should try and mix them up next time I do PJ.

Welcome GM!

Well done on mixing up your intervals ER. I did mine yesterday - have been alternating between 10 x 400m and 5 x 800m, yesterday was 5 x 800. Felt pretty tired before the session, the reps were slower than I’ve done them previously, but at least they were consistent.

Did my week 4 long run on Sunday, was really pleased with it. Before heading out, I felt rubbish and didn’t want to go, but the run felt far easier than my recent 10 milers. Looks like I may be doing my long run with a friend this weekend, which will be a nice change.

Intended to do my tempo session today, but feeling a little under the weather, so will try to fit it in tomorrow.

Thanks to Fetch for adding the link from the PJ page to the thread! :-)

Treshold walk yesterday... interrupted by the fact that I bumped into 3 different friends at different times in the walk. Treshold walking is rather hard, so I used the aid of an uphill stretch for it, achieving the extra effort put in without having to actually break into a run :)

I think the intervals shall be hill ''reps'' as well later this week.

You're adapting the plan well Hanneke.

Jenny, that's probably sensible.

Thanks to Fetch for adding the link and perhaps I should have read the requests first as Jenny beat me to it :-)
