According to US media sources - The shot(s) fired were not on the golf course, nor near Trump himself but linked to a man who was seen with a firearm in the vicinity of the Trump International Golf course where Trump was getting in a round. The campaign team heard shots fired, so he was moved to a place of safety according to protocol. |

I wonder what the hypothetical outcome would be if Trump was assassinated during this campaign or afterwards. I don't at all want him assassinated or killed, because that is immoral and simply wrong. But if someone who opposed him did take that matter into their own hands, it could well plunge the US into a state of chaos unlike anything we've seen before.

I'd definitely wondered what would happen if he was incapacitated in some way. He's an old geezer and all the facepaint in the world can't hide that fact, plus he is under immense strain campaign-wise and legally. I would admire his resilience if it weren't for: 1 His "energy" is born out of sheer narcissism and craziness with a healthy dash of fighting to stay out of prison and infinite resources and minions 2 I suspect big pharma may be involved somewhere because he is by turns half asleep and hopped up out of his canister. |

"hopped up out of his canister"  I don't know what this means, but I like it! We can criticise America's gun culture and violent political rhetoric but actually, haven't we had more politicians killed in UK than USA - David Amess and Jo Cox?
