Rome not built in a day etc etc. Though there will be local elections which will not benefit from the wider voting base until this is legislated for.

I wonder if they want to analyse the impact of Reform's social media campaigning before pulling the trigger on that one.

I wondered that too fetch. But the age figures don't seem to back it up, in fact almost the entire opposite.

Yes, my boy says Reform were all over TikTok etc but, in his eyes at least, an object of ridicule.

Yes, fetch, but we have to assume your boy is a chip off the old block. Maybe it had traction with other youngsters?

The figures that were released suggested otherwise. It's impossible to tell for 16-18, but for other ages from Lord Ashcroft analysis (16,677 polled on GE day)

18-24: 8% voted Reform
25-34: 9%
35-44: 11%
45-54: 16%
55-64: 16%
65+: 15%

Those figures suggest they're not cutting through (at all) with younger voters.

Reform base is 45+ white, male CDE2. And out from there.

8-9% under 34 still feels like a substantial number.

Yakima Canutt
You gov similar in general terms but slightly different in detail (see pic). Under 24 greens took more than reform and conservative.
