(missing line - funny thing is if the Tories end up with 80, they will probably end up arguing for PR, until they get in again and they will promptly forget they ever argued for it).

I wonder how much of the support in the polls for reform are influenced by the fact that everyone knows when they think about how they will be casting their vote for a "minority" party that they can do so in the knowledge that they won't be in power?

With all the talk of a Labour landslide spare a thought for the handful of sitting Labour MPs who are predicted to lose their seats (Bristol Central and Sheffield Hallam are two I spotted with a quick glance down the Electoral Calculus list).

I think there’s definitely something in that. Much easier to lodge a protest vote with FPTP

Also some people want to vote for Reform because they themselves are racist bigoted idiots. Not so sure about any nuance there.
