By all accounts, if you believe the papers, a significant proportion of the the ultra high net worth and globally mobile population in the UK are leaving so that group of voters (and the potential tax take that can come from them) is getting smaller. That would mean those that stay are logically going to be a higher percentage labour supporters. From a voting perspective a billionaire and a person on average wage have one vote each so I'm sure Labour policies are not based on that small group. Or am I just staying the bloody obvious. |

"I can't remember any recent election producing such massive differences in figures before." That's because they're not all doing the same thing - some are not adjusting for DKs, some are "Squeezing" DKs and some are forecasting DKs. Within each of those 3 groups, the range is actually quite narrow. YouGov changed from a not adjusting (nowcast) to an allocated (forecast) model half way through - which is problematic. |

Just for reference too, MiC is the most favourable for the Tories, which is a 1997 defeat. Savanta is, as you point out, now one of the most favourable for Labour and are predicting 53 seats for the Tories. That's the range. (#engage smug mode) 100+/-15 is about the midpoint (#end smug mode). |

Fozzy you would have very few employment rights were it not for the battles your brotherly ancestors fought for. Yet you seem determined to attack unions whenever you can. I wonder where your solidarity is. Admit it, you’re boss class, so it’s in your interest to do them down. |

The officer was arrested on Monday on suspicion of misconduct in public office, the Metropolitan police said in a statement So my question is why wasn’t Craig Williams (no relation I hasten to add) arrested for the same offence. |

Good question. I've checked the law and both police and MPs are covered. Which should answer the previous question of whether Williams had done something morally or legally wrong. |
