Not so sure it does answer the question, Paulcook. There are some very political beasts in the hierarchy of most forces, and the Met more than any. Given what we know, I'd have quite happily locked him up on suspicion of the above offence. Might just focus some minds in parliament that they're also not above the law. But then again, I'd have locked half of the fiddling buggers up during the expenses scandal. Straight up fraud if you asked me. They got off very lightly with paying stuff back and apologising. Compare and contrast to the sub-Posties eh? |

Watched a film at the pictures tonight called Green Border - latest from Agnieszka Holland covering the refugees who were trapped in the forests between Poland and Belarus around the winter of 2021. The EUs racist migration policy and the brutality of its nation states and military forces come in for fierce criticism and we are exposed to the crimes they commit against their fellow humans. At the end the film reminds us how Ukrainians were welcomed with open arms in stark contrast to how the subjects of the film have been treated. Highly recommended but not an easy watch. I think you would like it Chrisull |
