That wouldn't be going low IMO. The one I posted was going low. Both parties will say they are trying to get a general point across which it does in both (even if you don't agree with the point as per JOB's response to the Tory ad). |

"I am pretty certain I have had a real terms wage cut over that period as well." Well if it's more than 20%, you win. |

I don't think I've had a real terms pay rise ever.

Unanimity on the leaders of the 3 "main" party leaders condemning JSO at Stonehenge. Very little nuance.

My wages continually get "worse" and nigh on have done since I started working. My payrise earlier this year, for one, was wiped out by about a few days of mortgage increase. Without the rest of the bills going up. |

So is my 2.6% a real terms rise or not? Based on first July 2024 then yes it’s above 2%. However since October 22 inflation has been way above that. I could go further back. Is it 20%. I havent kept records. However maybe if it’s so bad you should look for a new employer. I often regret my choice of staying put. |

A total of 2,898,265 people have registered to vote since the General Election was called on May 22nd. Actually quite surprised that over 1.2m over 35yos have registered given that we have more or less continual registration these days. |

It's clearly not over time. Others have said it in real terms everyone is poorer due to the Tories, either in straight monetary terms or because they have caused every public service to be so shite |
