There will be a fair bit of mouthing off though, as there has been recently (alignment/non-alignment etc).

DeeGee - it will happen.
But yes JDA and Stander totally correct, not a lot will happen short term.
It will happen though, because aging population - demand for more social care etc, higher food prices will lead to more demand for local produce (also green/issues will demand more local produce)- and therefore demand for more cheap agricultural workers.
But this won't happen yet, or next year or the next. But give it time, we have voted for increased immigration I suspect, the irony is could have controlled it better as part of the EU(and we chose not to) with ID cards and tougher checks under EU law. The price of trade deals with say India could well be no restrictions on immigration. As the smaller player we will have less say.
I saw a meme that encapsulated it perfectly, a plasticine model of Farage telling Tesco, I buy more from you than you do from me, therefore you lose out more if I don't shop here anymore...

I was quite saddened by some of the celebrators that I saw on the news from last night. Really saddened.

Flag burning appalled me. Straight out of 1930s Germany. Akin to book burning..
I know it's *only* the EU flag. Compare and contrast with the dignity of the removal of the Union Jack. Folded neatly almost with reverence.
Just obscene behaviour.

The two things I’m seeing in various social media platforms a fair few times recently is either the “I may be on the losing side but I don’t think I’m wrong” meme or the “is it this week we get the extra £350m” comments. Or variations thereof.
It’s done. Continuing to moan about it isn’t going to move things forward.
It just makes those people look bitter and twisted and nasty. That’s just as unedifying.

Views are entrenched - there is no easy way to see how the country can 'come together'. Accepting something is 'done' does not mean you have changed your mind. The close margin in the referendum meant (in my view) a compromise was the best way forward - but that is not what we have ended up with.

Sorry Stander but disagree - depending on how it is expressed. When the Tories win an election you don't expect Labour or Lib Dems to stop arguing there case, adapted to the fact that the Toroes have won. I think we've made a mistake, and I'll continue to say that, but we have left and we need to do our best to maximise the up sides and minimise
