We used double funnels at Surrey Leagues it works well.

It's more the course than the funnels I think. As you say those barriers are difficult. Do cars still have access to that car park in Battersea or has that stopped now?

I used to live nearby but it's a long time since I've run laps of Battersea, maybe it will be fine.

They can no doubt work round it either way..It'd just have to be in the brief to get down to double file for that barrier.

Regarding Holyrood route, does anyone know if it is lit all the way around? I’m guessing it is. I’ll be going in October and may do a couple of laps early morning before I leave for home so just wondering if packing a head torch may be useful.

Not sure. Maybe ask on the Scottish runners thread. It’s a popular route for runners and cyclists all year.

Can’t see lampposts in any images tbh. Remember ours start at 0930.

Yeah, not a problem for the parkrun. But I’ll do some running on the route early on the Monday AM, possibly.

I have to say it's never sat well with me when it appears that a parkrun is being shoehorned into somewhere where it probably shouldn't be, like Battersea.

Why probably shouldn't it be?

Yes Holyrood is almost exactly one lap. Just a few metres short. A very convenient route to have a road just the right length!

(Well if you want to be precise maybe 200m short of a full lap)
