Sadly I celebrated my 11th parkrun anniversary by bailing once again at Aviemore parkrun. Had a panic attack shortly after starting so just let tail walker go on. OH had planned just walking with me anyway so we did eventually just walk the route ourselves. |

He did JamieKai It's happened on this route before which probably didn't help. Frustrating, as it's a beautiful route. |

Trying to order the t-shirt for my son, sadly the adult men's medium 100 is out of stock. But tbh he's not that not that big and one of the youth t-shirts would fit him just fine. I can't use his ID to access the shop to get a youth one, but presumably if I just grab the athlete number for a youth who has completed 100 I could access this and buy / pay for a t-shirt that has been properly earned. Would anyone see any issue with doing this to expedite things? I don't know if they log t-shirt purchase against runner ID these days (they certainly don't ration them I don't think) and whilst it's not entirely "right" is it really that wrong? Happy to follow the collective moral direction!! |

Large is too big? I'd be tempted to write to them, shop.parkrun.com and give them the problem, rather than any subterfuge? |

I could risk a small in the men's sizes, but when buying clothes for him generally he's in 15-16yo tops for a male aged 19; the 15-16 size on parkrun's shop is about the right size, it sits somewhere between the S and M sizes on the men's, which feels about right - he's not like a teenage skinny rake, but he's a bit bulkier than a men's S normally. Droping them a line does sound a very sensible option though!! |

tbh quite surprised how easy it would be to get a t-shirt without achieving the milestone just by putting the runner ID in. And actually, if I had thought on I would have ordered him a t-shirt off my ID in advance so that I could have given it to him at the end of his run for an instant reward!

I guess they care less these days when they are being paid for each t-shirt. Not too much point over-securing them.

So a lovely day for a parkrun. Only uploading this because I accidentally got fetcheveryone and Elsie Too in the background! |
