Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Awesome, Andy :) That must be quite a relief even if it's well off your pre-COVID times.

Good to read Andy - well done - hoping the progress continues :)

Also a good day for me - weather was perfect for doing set-up at Fell Foot (I did take photos but they don't do it justice) and there's something about having a chunk of Lake District to yourself at first light that properly lifts the spirits. For some reason everybody seemed to be in a good mood and the run went off well. Nice to meet Derby Tup briefly afterwards and pleased the group from Keighly also seemed to enjoy our run. Best bit - the results have me down at 22:59 - which looks and sounds so much better that the 23:00 I have on my watch :)

and chunkywizard , thanks both for the positive reaction to my Lanhydrock plan, which worked a treat today. A really nice event in an incredible setting. And you were both right about the climb!

A number of people with serious spinal injuries walked or wheeled Hull parkrun, some taking over 2 hours to finish. Looks like some serious effort.

That's a really good story - well done to all participants and to the Hull parkrun team for enabling it
