Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

24:58 and a course PB by 1 second :-) I live on a hill, which is not massive, but feels absolutely desperate for the start and finish of a parkrun - I run up half of it at the start then all of it at the finish - and it has steep downhill steps after the first hill and 4 road crossings that make it only possible to do during lockdown when there are hardly any cars around. I did start today's run quite late when it had warmed up quite a lot, as I had waited in vain for my son to get out of bed. I think I would do better to have the company and someone to pace me up the last hill.

I’m missing someone just ahead to chase down, or someone over my shoulder to push me one

29:20 today on my off road fake parkrun course. Rib ached a bit but was fine. It is a lovely route - includes rural reservoir, woodland and farmland. It always improves my mood.

Aye. I’m wearing my wristband on Saturdays still and we always thank the dog for marshalling

I still wear my wristband but then I do on every run as it has my ICE details as I’m a nightmare for not taking my phone
