Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

We have a few issues at Prospect; travellers on site, a big influx of junior football due to other venues in town being waterlogged and our normal start/finish being waterlogged exacerbated by a vehicle being driven through that area and churning it up (nothing to do with the travellers) but I think we are okay for this week at least. I wonder what next week will bring...

Thanks for asking cw. Work has not started yet, so our usual course is still open, and there is no sign of the new path, without which we cannot measure.

We think it's because of all the rain but the council are being uncommunicative.

I was most annoyed to find out I’m working on leap day and I’ve used up all my annual leave (leave year starts in April).

It would be fun to have a leap year parkrun badge on the running challenges extension. Not many of us would get 2 though.

Going back to prison parkruns, I gather that the impetus came from our Mental Health champions, and the EA #runandtalk initiative. There is another trip going to Cromhall tomorrow and one of my core team chums will ask their Ambassador what the situation is for other prison parkruns to link with outside runners.

Ive just realised that it's my 300th parkrun tomorrow. Mind you, the way the rain is lashing down at the moment, it might have to wait till next week.

Weather permitting, I'll do my usual. A slow 6 mile plod to Littlehampton Prom parkrun. Race round the parkrun, (yes, in my dreams.) Then a slow plod back home.

Good luck to all those running tomorrow.
