400+ at Cheltenham, bit low but much nearer normal. New Women's course record set by GB athlete Adelle Tracy :-)

I don't know how many were at Exmouth where I was as the results have not yet gone up, nor have I had a text or email. Maybe the results processor is still drying out ;-)

Decent number at Workington (170). Weather perfect for running.

Frozen across Central Scotland, but not icy. Which made underfoot conditions ideal where I went (University of Stirling). Firm and dry, instead of muddy and puddly. Numbers across the area seem to have been completely normal.

Lovely weather in Kirkcaldy saw their numbers back to normal. Very pleasant course with just a wee hill.

Congrats Dibble, nice cake.

Old Deer parkrun was foggy and damp but enjoyable and nice to see Fidgety Midget and Mr Midget.

Today I paid my first visit to Bushy, I was guiding a blind friend who had completed it before. I finished in position 998 in 32'27

I was surprised how much I enjoyed it, as even with 1,300 runners it did not feel too crowded or overwhelming. I'll be tempted to give the cafe a miss next time, but I can't find fault with the run itself.

Was a bit icy in Aberdeen first thing then a wee hail storm before the start and then it became ideal conditions for a PB ( not me sadly) but there were quite a few today.

Mark - as ED at Bushy I'm glad you enjoyed it and couldn't find fault with us! ;-)

Anyone listening to this on BBC Radio 4? Sun. eves, 1945 hr.

bbc.co.uk Ep. 1 [3.11.19]

From summary: "A group of strangers in Belfast have formed a running group, determined to go from absolute beginners to completing a 5K Parkrun in just nine weeks. As their shared runs get longer and tougher, friendships are forged and relationships challenged. But will any of them actually make it over the finish line?..."
