We’ve had so much snow that there’s a lot of crunch on top of ice, actually making conditions a bit better (albeit hard work!). My local hazlehead has posted that they’re on (subject as usual to morning check) which is great news as I still can’t get my car out of the drive, but I can walk to the start!

Crathes is the same. It's looking beautiful in the snow.

Now down to 8 in the Yorkshire and the Humber region. Including York so there's the chance I'll do a parkrun.

Having been out for a “run” which consisted mostly of gingerly picking my way round the ice sheets I can certainly understand why there’s not a lot on locally!

Edinburgh cancelled as its unsafe. I expected that. I will probably run the route as part of tomorrows run anyway as I bet it is runnable, just not Parkrunnable. There are two short sections that will be frozen and dangerous which you cover on the way out and back, less than 5 metres each and would be carnage with lots of people at same time especially at pace
