Only 294 at Greenwich today (I wasn’t one of them) on what is traditionally the busiest weekend of the year due to other park closures for fireworks preparation. Last year was the record at 428.

142 at Crosby, 38 up on last week's figure. On Merseyside, Rugby Union isn't anywhere near as strong as football in terms of keen interest.

We were only 12 fewer than last week at Haverhill, pretty breezy, but the heavy rain held off until just after the tail walker got in.

80 at Witney today, whereas we’d normally have between the mid 200’s to well over 300. The weather forecast had a bit to play as well as the rugby, although it was neither as wet or windy as predicted.

Newbiggin was slightly above average this week. But then Blyth was cancelled. Druridge was well below its average runners. So I would assume a few usual blyth runners made up the numbers at newbiggin but the rest didnt bother.

134 at Cleethorpes. Down by about 50% on the heights of summer, when we, naturally, get our highest attendances.
The volunteer squad was down, but the RD on the day is one of the most experienced race organisers in this part of the world, so there were never going to be any concerns.
