Not me, min. Steve has more experience in his little finger than I could ever have.

It must have felt a pretty relaxed day at Cardiff with so few (comparatively) runners. One localish event (Livingston) had a third more runners, despite a nearby inaugural. They had pushed is as their 200th event though. More than treble the turnout of two weeks before, when it was fearsomely wet.

Run reports: have most parkruns just abandoned them? I guess there is no pressure from parkrun Towers regarding them. I was particularly struck that a new event up here (Queen's, Glasgow) has, after three events, a completely blank news page.

207 at Hilly Fields (in somewhat challenging conditions); we're usually high 200s or low 300s.

We've never got into the habit of doing a regular run report. We do use the news page for any important updates (cancellations for example). The last time someone tried to do one I seem to remember we had issues getting photos to display.

We usually have a run report. Mostly either tourists or regulars write them.

The writer on the Crosby team really goes to town - or should that be sea - on its run reports. The example for the "Hallowe'en" parkrun is by no means an exception and most reports are accompanied by photos.

Low numbers at Inverness this week, probably a combination of weather, being on the changed course and a nearby cross country event on in the afternoon. Extremely splashy and muddy, and lots of fun.

*whispers* It was really lovely to have only 167 instead of our usual 500+ on Saturday. I felt much more relaxed as RD, and could interact with people much more easily than when we're overflowing with runners.

It was just like the old days :-)

We have started in the last few months posting our reports online - and not just on FB. We now will link to the official site. My argument is that we don't need to do social media, and I won't do it at all. If there is something to be said - stick it on the website.

I wish there were more EDs like you edison. I despise everything being on social media rather than the proper web pages.
