I use WhatsApp on my tablet (a Samsung TabA) without any problem FNDB. I wonder if you just need to update the app?

It has occured to me that on Saturday due to the rugby
a) the roads will be empty
b) parkruns will also be quite empty
therefore

c) by checking neighbouring parkruns it may be possible to find one where I could end up quite high up the rankings on a very average time.

That infographic would have taken someone an hour or 2 to produce (unless they already had the template). Really nice but hard to maintain unless HQ give better access to the data.

McG I think you might be right. Still have a couple of issues getting volunteers for Saturday but I'm hoping it's all going to come good in the next 2 days

Highly likely, McG. Our numbers were half of our usual last week. I'm expecting a very small turnout this week too.

@LazyDaisy - WhatsApp can work on a tablet, but it is a bit less straightforward especially if you don't have a SIM card in the tablet. But I think in both cases you can't sign up for Whatsapp without having it on a phone somewhere - though i could be wrong about that.

I have a SIM card in my tablet, and thus a separate phone number, so the two WhatsApp apps (ie phone and tablet) are separate - so much so that sometimes I think a message is on the phone but when I check it's on the tablet app. *eye roll*

Fragile Do Not Bend
My tablet is an iPad and the apple App Store doesn’t even give me the option of downloading WhatsApp onto an iPad. I’ve noticed there is now a third party app for ipad that claims to link to a WhatsApp account though.
