Maidstone had a record turnout of over 500 this morning. Despite a long funnel it did back up a bit but the timers moved forward to where the start (end?) of the queue was. I think that was a good idea as it only shortened the distance a tiny bit.

We got about 600 at Dinton Pastures this morning, nearly twice our previous attendance record. We were prepared though using the apps when the timers filled up and we had printed out extra position tokens when our 448 ran out. It was great fun!

Rushmoor nearly a record attendance followed by Finley Lodge with a record 740+, a record by nearly 50. Frimley was run in reverse as it was on Christmas day, a nice downhill finish. The numbers there meant it was very crowded, but it was still a great atmosphere.

Well done Bazoaxe and Cstar :-) A single for me at Tollcross after defrosting the car (-2°C) though above zero and sunny blue skies in the city. Another record turnout (over 300) and also ran out of tokens, but only by a few I think. Their five largest attendances are all NYD.

Same madness at Stratford. We were the 10.30 bonus run for several local 9am runs.

Our record (at the Inaugural) was 450, we anticipated up to 600 today so printed, cut and stringed the additional paper tokens as we only have 448. We had an extra stopwatch and extra scanners using the volunteer app.

Just as well as the tail walker got token #664 we had to write the last 60 runners down manually but it was ok as the footfall was a bit lighter by then. :-o

Team at Perry Hall did really well today considering half of Birmingham turned up. Suspect it was a record attendance. They ran out of tokens and had well over 100 names to write down, probably closer to 200. Lots had already done Sutton.
