(I reminded my soon-to-be 30 year-old son last week that he skipped all the way home from his first day at school, because when he'd arrived in the morning there was a rainbow in the sky over his classroom :-) )

York is trying out a four lap ‘C’ course (on grass) this week. A and B are being used for another event. Might be a bit of a squeeze, especially with Heslington cancelled...

It looks cosy Beebop! And it actually has a slope on it, so unusually high elevation numbers for York!

I shall be missing since I'm off on a 20 miler in preparation for the marathon next month.

My "50" t-shirt has arrived. I shall wear it for my race on Sunday, just because.

:-o dino The only thing worse would be racing in an aubergine ;-)

(My 100 shirt tends only to go out on the bike as it combines largeness with cling in a singularly unflattering manner. As a mid layer, out of sight.)

Might do Falkirk. Would like a change and would prefer a flat course to try for a decent time, but I think economy (of time and money) will win. Also, not even checked if my legs are working properly after Sunday's 10K (which was run at a faster pace than any recent parkrun).
