yeh right! Hackney Marshes has one of the fastest average times in the region. Nice, flat and fast. Mind you, I did see Tommy Walsh ( Ground Force ) walking his dog around once so could be well 'ard in some respect.

Yup, Hackney Marshes was the FASTEST in the country by average time, and Queens the fastest by average age grade. Millom was judged the hardest by average time and age grade. Millom apparently the hardest due to how muddy it is, but it does have very low attendance. You do have to wonder if it puts off the fastest runners, and how many people bother running full effort if it's that bad. |

It sounds beautiful and friendly. I've just done Edinburgh for the first time; I ran round and chatted with a pacer and the kms just zipped by. A flat, wide, tarmac, lollipop course with the added benefit of seeing the jets coming in to land. Vest weather.

Hampstead Heath was good. Lots of young student type people.... makes it easy for an old lady like me to win their catergory !
