I've only done the A course a couple of times, but basically its two laps with a sneaky extra hill at the end. The hill in the middle is long and steep...but at least you go down it one side first.

Its very busy at the start as well, but I wouldnt worry as the hill sorts people out ;)

Tomorrow's Huntingdon parkrun is cancelled as sadly there has been an unexplained death at Hinchingbrooke Park and the police are carrying out their investigations.

Hampstead Heath is a great cross country venue, I have run there in the Civil Service XC many times

I've done the Southern XC at Pariment Hill a couple of times. Is the Hampstead Heath park run a similar course (but simlar couse) as it says wood land paths and concrete? Up for a bit of mud after last weeks 3 laps of a tarmac path? Although may do Tring instead.

My viewing of the Hampstead Heath maps is that the courses intersect a bit but not to any great extent parkrun.org.uk

Yep the courses are very different. parkrun is all solid ground, the only paths in the XC are laid with sawdust to stop them jarring on the spikes and we cross them rather than run on them.
