Totally agree Dvorak it's awful that public toilets are being shut down without alternative arrangements being made. Anyone can get caught short when out and about. It's something I've complained to Aberdeenshire Council about without a satisfactory response.

Gobi: of the three I've done I'd have brueton as the quickest, cov in the middle, and Kingsbury as the slowest, but there's really not much in any of them to be fair.

We've been cancelled by the local park officials for at least the next 2 weeks until the weather and ground conditions improve. A real shame as 13 Jan is our 5 year anniversary  Hope it's not a repeat of 2014 when they shut us down for 4 weeks.

A fair portion of the course is on grass and it does get quite churned up when it's water logged and then takes a while to recover so it's fair dos tbh. They also ban all the football training/matches and other organised activities. Bit frustrating that they do their park inspections in vans which do more damage then we ever do!! We're lucky to be in an area with plenty of alternatives to chose from though.

Quite a few cancellations tomorrow for waterlogging.
Clare Castle (which was cancelled last weekend due to part of the course being underwater) has an new alternative route away from the river, featuring a new woodland path that volunteers have created during the week.
