I'm sure I read on on here, or maybe on the parkrun site, that the points competition is being scrapped. I've mentioned it to a few people including some of the core team, and they dont seem aware. Did I imagine it being scrapped or is it going?

Just read back a few pages and prompted to check to see if I had any finishing positions matching event. Have had a couple - 19th on the 19th event and 10th on our 10th event.

9th at Inverness no. 9, 12th at Blackhill no. 12, 18 th at Egin no. 18, 19th at Blackhill no. 19,

and once was just one off.

Seems like I got the hang of that then

Never considered this before, so just gone back and looked through my results, no matches but one near miss - Barry Island this New Year's Day was event 88, my position was 89

238 @ Guildford #238(Xmas Day), 69 @ Bracknell #69. One out a couple of other times.

I shall have to pay attention to this - we're on 206 parkruns here and I usually finish around the 230th mark :-)
