59:59 is the default result you get allocated if a parkrun's results are either giving too many false PBs (i.e. Course is Short) to avoid people having pbs they'll never see again.
Or in the event of equipment malfunctions everyone who ran gets 59:59 It means everyone gets a run credit but nobody gets an untrue fast time.

Exceptional circumstances that everyone might get 59:59, i.e. Incident on the course, or emergency course changing giving soft PB times

Ah, I thought he meant he'd had to run it in hybrids. One of my running groups calls them 50:59s due to a typo someone made once.

One of our runners noticed that he'd finished 234th at our 234th event last week. Which prompted me to see if I had any similar numberwangs. Found that I was 17th at our 17th event - which was Christmas Day 2012, just a few months after we'd started, when a whole 20 of us ran.

Edison we had to drop the anti-clockwise running of our route as there was a sharp turn over a little bridge with no parapet within 50m of our start (we used to alternate clock-wise/anti-clockwise each week). As numbers grew it was only a matter of time before someone fell off. Could changing the direction work for you?

I'm going to have to complete an awful lot more Parkruns before I stand a chance of finishing in the same position as my run number
At my current rate I could be in my late sixties, and corresponding finishing further down the field so maybe never get there!
I might have to do a bit of tourism to find one with fewer runners to stand a chance

Never looked at this before but turns out I was 156 at 156 and 187 at 187 and quite a few others just one number out at Aberdeen.

Actually I came close in my second Parkrun in 2012 finishing 59th in Oxford's 57th event.
I think I'll just concentrate on getting the odd PB. It's probably still a little easier!
