Probably tough to walk too. I find parkwalking takes a lot of time even on the flat.
Wear decent footwear, approach shoes or the like, it’ll be muddy.

Hull parkrun for me this weekend - taking junior to Hull University for an open day which starts at 09:00 so hopefully I can drop him off early and make it to parkrun in time - this all hinges on getting him out of his pit to set off early

In London for the weekend and the closest parkruns to where we are staying are Southwark or Victoria Dock. Does anyone know these and have any suggestions on which to pick?

First time this year on the summer route at Fell Foot on Saturday
Spoke too soon - just had the message that we're back to the winter route this week because it's not stopped raining for days - on the up side, setup doesn't take as long so I don't need to start quite as early.

BK brighter days ahead
@WayOfTheDodo - Southwark is a nice event in a pleasant park with a nice cafe and facilities. Victoria Dock is one of those that I have been involved with on the core team and ran there often up to several years ago, has no facilities unless you sneak into a hotel and generally has as many if not more first and only time visitors than regulars as such it has lost much of its local community vibe and struggles for volunteers so, if you have a non running companion(s) they would be made more than welcome if they were willing to assist with marshalling ( no course knowledge as it is literally several times up and down a short section of dockside path ) and scanners.
Personally I would opt for Southwark but that said I have already done the Cable Car and have no desire to chase challenges.
