Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Exeter Riverside is being suspended after this week due to issues with landowners and conflict with path users it seems

"Unfortunately, we are sad to share that we are just about to lose the use of both of our fields, at Bromham’s Farm and Duck’s Meadow, while the landowners undertake major grounds works.

Our alternative ‘wet weather’ route brings large numbers of participants into contact with other path users for the whole course, and has caused problems over the past couple of weeks. Sadly, this means it’s not a sustainable short or long term solution for us.

Despite trying to find an alternative route, we have run out of time and the Core Committee have come to the conclusion that we have no option but to temporarily suspend Exeter Riverside Parkrun while we try and set up a new route."

I've realised that I'm going to be going 3 weeks without running a parkrun. :-o

Last weekend, I was out all day in Blackpool for the football.

This weekend, I've got a weird race at 10.30 on the Saturday.

The weekend after, I've got a 5K race at 11am so I'm volunteering at pr before I head there.

No parkrun until the 25th - may re-do Netley Abbey as visiting parents in Portsmouth for the weekend and girlfriend hasn't done that one. :-)
